Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, applying clinical diagnostic skills to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. \n Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions with an emphasis on creating supportive and trusting relationships. \n Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, deploying de-escalation techniques and appropriate interventions. \n Maintain meticulous client documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary teams in case reviews, ensuring comprehensive treatment and continuity of care for clients. \n Educate clients and families on mental health topics, available resources, and treatment options, while actively advocating for their rights. \n Engage in professional development by participating in workshops, training, and staying informed on the latest practices and research in mental health therapy. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will work with a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, adults, and families—each navigating a unique array of challenges. The client population may present issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n \n Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist - either LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. \n A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred. \n Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic proficiency. \n A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively build rapport with clients and families. \n Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously, yet collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. \n Adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards in therapy practice. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates. \n Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools is advantageous. \n Prior experience in community health settings or knowledge of local resources in San Antonio is a plus. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
