Job Details This role plays a critical part in building, repairing, and supporting custom machinery and equipment that keeps our customers running. You’ll work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and fabricated systems in a fast-moving manufacturing environment where quality, responsiveness, and problem-solving matter. Responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain custom machinery, box plant equipment, and supporting systems Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify root causes of equipment failures Repair, rebuild, and maintain conveyors, belts, chains, motors, fixtures, hoists, cranes, plumbing, and heavy industrial equipment Complete mechanical breakdown repairs and full equipment rebuilds as needed Perform MIG and Stick welding and fabrication to support machinery repairs, modifications, and custom builds Set up and operate manual machinery to manufacture or modify components in-house Wire machinery and electrical systems, including equipment operating up to three-phase 480V Support installation, startup, and ongoing maintenance of EMACH-built equipment Collaborate closely with fabrication, machining, and service teams to deliver durable, high-quality solutions Qualifications Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial or custom machinery in a manufacturing environment Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on repair experience Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding and general fabrication Ability to set up and safely operate manual machinery Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs for diagnostics and troubleshooting Experience maintaining conveyors, motors, chains, belts, and heavy industrial equipment Comfortable wiring machinery and working with electrical systems up to three-phase 480V Proven ability to diagnose mechanical breakdowns and perform equipment rebuilds Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a hands-on shop environment Interested in hearing more?
