Deliver technical consultations and product support to end customers and internal stakeholders to maximize adoption and satisfaction. Maintain expert-level knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry technologies, staying ahead of trends and competitive offerings. Report on KPIs, operational benchmarks, and team performance to senior stakeholders on a regular basis. Skills and Experience Proven success in a leadership role overseeing operations and technical sales, preferably in structured wiring, telecommunications, or infrastructure solutions. Deep knowledge of structured cabling technologies including coax, copper (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.), and fiber optics. Strong background in building and scaling teams in fast-paced environments, with a history of driving measurable performance improvements. Experience collaborating across business units (sales, marketing, engineering) to execute cross-functional initiatives. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to lead both strategy and execution. Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn metrics into meaningful actions. Background in telecommunications, low voltage contracting, or cabling systems is highly preferred. Summary objective of the job The Account Manager is responsible for expanding the customer base within a designated region, by growing business at existing customers and developing new ones. In order to excel in this role, you must possess an in-depth understanding of the assigned region. Your knowledge will be put to use as you promote our full range of products, both directly and through a network of distributors. The main objective is to develop new revenue opportunities with Non‑Automotive customers. Travel – Travel required up to 20% ; majority will be domestics with occasional international travel. Job qualification requirements/competencies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in territorial sales‑related roles, preferably with experience selling our products. Demonstrated proficiency in efficiently managing a geographic territory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Salesforce Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Thorough understanding of operating within a global matrix environment and cultivating effective relationships. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct sales experience in the region, including distributor sales representatives, and have worked for electronic component manufacturers reps. Candidates with existing residency in the region are preferred. Supervisory requirements No supervisory experience is required. Physical requirements A normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct a normal amount of work on a computer. Salary At NMB, the pay band for this role is between $93,184.00 and $139,776.00 annually. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay is a part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range of the pay band process.
