Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have a variety of important responsibilities, including: \n \n Maintaining a manageable caseload, establishing rapport, and fostering positive working relationships with clients while adhering to professional ethics and appropriate boundaries. \n Conducting regular client meetings to assess progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and determine discharge when appropriate. \n Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each client. \n Documenting progress notes and maintaining up-to-date records for each client in accordance with best practices and administrative policies. \n Performing comprehensive intake assessments to gather pertinent information about clients' mental health status and needs. \n Conducting individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, adapting therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of each client. \n Engaging in individual supervision to foster your professional growth and enhance your therapeutic skills. \n Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers to coordinate client care and treatment. \n Maintaining a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional improvement within the counseling practice. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The LPC will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including adults, children, and families. We address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, thereby requiring our counselors to be adaptable and culturally sensitive in their therapeutic methodologies. Qualifications\n To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: \n \n A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field. \n A current, unrestricted, and independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. \n At least one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting following graduation. \n Proficiency in computer use, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and communication purposes. \n Preferred Experience\n Candidates who have experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, as well as those who are comfortable with intake assessments, will be prioritized for this role. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches is also beneficial.
