Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 40 per week of procedures (combination of elective and urgent/emergent inpatient/ ER patients). Description of Work Assignment : Inpatient Coverage and elective Scoping Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: Variable inpatient and elective procedure time Schedule of Days/Times Needed To Work/ Shift Hours: On call? Yes call coverage Ideally the inpatient coverage, as noted, would be a few hours of elective procedures as well as any incoming urgent / emergent procedures as well as rounding. For example: come in at 0730- 12 and do procedures and then round on patients / consults 1-5. We are flexible, but potentially m-Thursday inpatient/ elective procedures and f-Sunday 24 hour call coverage. Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: Endoscopy, Colonoscopy Patient Load: 10-15 inpatient consult s Does the Provider Have Particular Fellowship? Cardiology Physician

Position Overview: The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVACHS) is seeking a Physician to serve as the Clinical Director of the Cardiology Division. Commitment to excellence in patient care and an interest in teaching are essential. A record of contribution to the scientific literature is preferred. In addition to contributing to the clinical mission of the division, the division chief will be expected to participate in a variety of leadership duties. These will include distribution of clinical and educational assignments among the division staff, support of administrative functions of the division, mentoring division colleagues, and supporting division research when feasible. All of our full-time division members participate in outpatient clinic services including fellow s clinic and in the inpatient consult service. Our hospitalist service reduces the demands of in-patient care on our subspecialty divisions. We have added another full-time physician position to the division, so we are able to accommodate a division chief with any subspecialty interest. Advanced echocardiography skills, expertise in other cardiac imaging, interest in heart failure, interest in consult service. Our hospitalist service reduces the demands of in-patient care on our subspecialty divisions. leadership and expertise in interventional and/or structural cardiology would all be compatible with our service alignment. Hospital has new opening of Gastroenterology-Outpatient physician locum need in IL. REQUIREMENTS: BC or BE in Gastroenterology, ACLS, BLS, Moderate Sedation. LICENSE RESTRICTION: Candidates must have an ALREADY ACTIVE Illinois license, active IL DEA, and CS. SCHEDULE: As soon as credentialed and payer enrollment completed. Full time, every week, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (Outpatient Clinic and GI Procedure Lab). Start time for MAC blocks is 7:30a. Proof of Covid vaccination is required.
