The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and an ability and desire to learn about compressed air equipment and the service/repair and installation processes. This role requires enthusiastic engagement with customers, to identify their needs, and the capability to provide tailored solutions. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; and/or degree in a related field is a plus • Proven outside sales experience. Electric motors, industrial equipment, or a technical sales environment is a plus. • Willingness and ability to learn technical concepts related to electric motors and repair processes. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability and flexibility to travel throughout a designated territory; occasional overnight travel may be required with ample notice. • Strong customer service orientation with a relationship-building mindset. • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle—from lead generation to close • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Highly organized with strong time and territory management skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams • Familiarity with territory planning tools, GPS mapping, or sales routing software is a plus • Physical ability to visit job sites, warehouses, or industrial environments as needed • Bilingual skills a plus, but not required.
