Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2450.92 Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in the emergency department setting • Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay • Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood transfusions as needed • Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses • Work within a full spectrum emergency care setting including a separate Chest Pain Center • Must be willing and able to work in charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed • At least 2 years of experience in the ED setting required • At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • Candidates with licensure hits or background actions will not be accepted • Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius • Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract Facility: This healthcare facility features a full spectrum emergency care department, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center, providing comprehensive emergency services to the community.
