Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations through telehealth platforms to identify clients' mental health needs, providing detailed treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances. \n Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions via video or phone consultations for various demographics, including individuals, couples, and families, while utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). \n Work in close coordination with a robust multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to facilitate integrated care and ensure the holistic well-being of our clients. \n Provide effective crisis intervention, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies through telehealth channels. \n Engage with community outreach efforts, promoting mental health education and awareness initiatives both online and offline to destigmatize mental health issues. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Counseling, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including young adults, families, and seniors, many of whom are navigating significant life changes or challenges exacerbated by social determinants such as economic instability and health disparities. Your work will contribute directly to empowering these individuals, helping them to access the care and support crucial for their well-being.
