The selected individual will teach adult professional students and develop or modify language training materials. \n \n Essential Duties and Responsibilities \n \n \n Provide global language, cryptologic, language, and cultural training to military forces and civilian personnel via traditional classroom instruction, written materials, technology-based instruction, and distributed learning services. \n \n Develop and integrate new global and cryptologic training materials, curriculum, and courseware for approval of US Government. \n \n Adapt instructional methods to meet student language proficiency goals, learning styles, and time constraints \n \n \n Qualifications: \n \n \n Interagency Language Round Table (ILRT) level 3 or higher in Russian and an advanced working proficiency in English (ILRT level 2, based on DLPT 4) \n \n Bachelor’s degree in Russian language, applied linguistics, or language teaching preferred. \n \n 4 years of related experience (8 years without a degree). Alternatively, an associate degree plus 6 years of related experience is acceptable. \n \n 1 or more years’ experience providing language or relation instruction. \n \n Expert knowledge of Russian to include speaking, grammar, phonology, linguistic functions, etc. \n \n Instructional Systems Design experience preferred \n \n Requires US citizenship \n \n AMSOPP1 \n \n If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
