Utilization of integrated PAC systems and voice recognition systems. Performs the duties of this position in addition to other agreed upon responsibilities of interpretation of diagnostic radiology studies (as per qualifications and ability) to include possible modalities of computed tomography, general radiography, fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, DEXA, and ultrasonography. Candidate must have or obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS certification. On-call rotation is required. Current experience, up-to-date procedure skills, as well as excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. Must be highly visible and accessible to patients and referring physicians. Eligible for academic appointment to provide training, mentoring, and supervision to UMKC School of Medicine radiology residents. Adherence to timely and accurate CPRS documentation and VA training requirements, participation in FPPE/OPPE process and peer review, uphold integrity of Protected Health Information.
