The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a transitional role designed to prepare you for promotion into a Retail Store Management position. With a focus on leadership training, customer service excellence, and operational expertise, you’ll receive hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities. Within 8-12 weeks, you could progress into management—depending on your prior experience and performance. What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 Year: 1-2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor. Structure & Process Orientation – Support store operations, ensure compliance with policies, and uphold structured training processes. Teamwork & Training – Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training employees to develop a strong, successful team. Customer Service Leadership – Take charge of customer service activities, ensuring outstanding experiences and resolving concerns proactively. Inventory & Sales Management – Oversee inventory accuracy, store merchandising, and sales strategies to maximize success. Operations Training – Complete management skills training, learning key aspects of store operations and AutoZone culture. MITs must demonstrate consistent progression throughout the training program to be considered for management openings. Mortgage Loan Officer
