Mailroom Clerk Spokane, WA (onsite) 2 Months Contract (temp to hire) Mon - Fri (8:00 am-4:30 pm) Summary Client is seeking a detail-oriented Mailroom & Shipping Assistant to support mail and package operations for a publicly held company. The ideal candidate will perform daily sorting, mailing, and shipping tasks, interact professionally with internal customers, and maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary assignment with a focus on long-term employment potential. Responsibilities Sort inbound USPS and inter-office mail and packages. Hand collate printed materials and manually stuff mail pieces into envelopes. Interact with internal customers and department representatives to fulfill mailing and shipping requests. Handle occasional cash transactions for customer mailings/shipments. Distribute mail/packages across a corporate campus using a mail cart. Operate a postage meter to apply postage to outbound mail. Use FedEx Ship Manager software for shipping requests. Stage inter-office mail and packages for courier pickup to other locations. Use a computer to verify mail recipients via the corporate directory. Communicate via email (Outlook) and complete required corporate training. Perform other duties as assigned.
