Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are currently hiring Caregivers at three levels based on experience. All caregivers will provide compassionate, person-centered care tailored to each client’s individualized service plan. Caregiver Levels: Level I (Entry-Level): 0–1 year of caregiving experience Level II (Intermediate): 2 years of professional caregiving experience Level III (Advanced): 5 years of experience, leadership potential, and/or experience in specialized care (e.g., dementia, hospice) Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Transferring, mobility assistance, and ambulation Meal preparation and feeding support Support clients in maintaining a proper diet and hydration Engage clients in leisure and social activities to promote well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks: Laundry, vacuuming, dishes, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom and kitchen cleaning Ensure a clean, safe, and organized home environment Respond appropriately to emergencies and client requests Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes to supervisors Work cooperatively with team members and participate in ongoing training Qualifications & Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to handle physical aspects of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Willingness to follow care plans and adapt to client needs Respect for client confidentiality and dignity Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Physical ability to perform caregiver duties Preferred Experience by Level Level I: No professional experience required; ideal for candidates starting a career in home care. Training provided. Level II: 2 years of direct care experience; ability to work independently and handle more complex care plans. Job Description Job Description SUMMARY Assists residents with activities of daily living and other direct care under direction of nursing and medical staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Percentages represent approximate time spent on function) ________ 75% Resident Care – Medication Administration Accurately and safely prepares, administers and documents the administration of all appropriate, physician-ordered medications and treatments. Ensures that all medications and treatments are administered following facility policies and procedures in a manner supporting resident choice and dignity. Observes residents closely, identifying concerns, changing needs, conditions, reactions to medications, and refusal to take medications, which must be immediately reported to the supervising nurse. ________ 25% Resident Care - Activities of Daily Living Assists with CNA assignments according to resident need and preference. Completes daily charting on resident ADLs, behaviors, etc. Provides an individualized dining experience to residents according to their needs and preferences.
