This role focuses on direct solution delivery, not project management oversight. The Architect will translate complex warehouse and supply chain operations into robust SAP designs, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and third-party logistics systems. They will work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, build and configure solutions, test integrations, and drive successful go-lives across multiple sites. While this role may include mentoring junior consultants and collaborating with leadership, the primary focus is technical architecture, configuration, and deployment. *Key Role Clarification* This is a hands-on technical role, not a project management position. While the Architect will work closely with leadership and mentor junior team members, the primary responsibility is designing, configuring, and delivering SAP EWM solutions that drive operational excellence and business value. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions that align with business requirements and SAP best practices. Partner directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational workflows into detailed technical designs. Perform hands-on configuration of SAP EWM modules, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, labor management, RF framework, and automation integration. Collaborate with technical teams to design RICEFW objects and ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and third-party logistics platforms. Support and execute data migration, system testing (unit, SIT, UAT), and cutover activities, ensuring operational readiness for go-live. Provide expert-level support during hypercare, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current with SAP EWM innovations, recommending upgrades and new features to improve system performance. Mentor junior team members on configuration best practices (secondary focus). MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience. Work Experience 10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain modules, with at least 5 years in SAP EWM. Proven hands-on configuration experience with SAP S/4HANA integration Ability to design and document detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams. Successful delivery of at least two full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live. Strong experience integrating SAP EWM with automated warehouse systems (e.g., conveyors, AS/RS) and external 3PL partners. Expertise in SAP integration points with modules such as PP, TM, QM, and FICO. Global or multi-site warehouse rollout experience strongly preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Advanced knowledge of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, labor management, inventory management, and value-added services. Deep hands-on expertise with SAP EWM configuration, RF framework, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP systems. Proven experience in full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live. Ability to design and document detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on direct solution delivery. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and leadership. Proven ability to translate between business requirements and technical solutions, bridging executives, business teams, and IT. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies. Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments. SAP EWM certification preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as MS Teams. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The anticipated salary range for this position: $132,600.00 - $199,160.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
