Work Schedule: 2nd shifts (2:30pm – 12am) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Multi-Tasking Lathes with Fanuc controls. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tools, fixtures and materials for each job, ensuring accuracy and precise measurement. Collaborate with the production team to determine optimal machining methods and sequences for each product. Monitor machine operations, adjusting as necessary to ensure proper functioning and quality output. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines, identifying and resolving any issues to minimize downtime. Perform quality control checks on finished products, using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications. Maintain accurate records of production data, including setup time, cycle time and quantities produced. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in machining, manufacturing or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1–3 years of CNC mill and/or lathe operation experience preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T callouts. Working knowledge of CNC machine operation, tooling, fixtures, offsets, and basic machine shop practices. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and verify parts to specification. Basic math skills, including decimals, fractions, geometry and measurement conversions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently and communicate effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality and commitment to quality and safety. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fanuc or similar controls. Experience with set-up and operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes in a production environment. Ability to perform basic program edits or offset adjustments. Experience working in ISO, AS9100, lean manufacturing or quality-controlled production environments. Familiarity with ERP (Epicor a plus) NIMS, machining or manufacturing certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and use hands and fingers for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to visually inspect parts and read measuring instruments, drawings and machine displays. Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, cutting fluids, metal chips and moderate to loud noise levels. Job Description Job Description Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in Commerce City, CO. This full-time position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes. No loading/unloading and no deliveries! Drivers will conduct pre-trip safety inspection as required. Then you will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces. The driver will be electronically document findings in a very clear and concise manner. Pay rate: $28 - $30 per hour. Depending on experience and shift. Shift Hours: 5 days/week, Monday - Sunday (must work one weekend day) 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm 2nd Shift: ($2.00/hour shift differential pay) 5pm - 3am Requirements: Must have a valid CDL A and DOT Card Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years.
