Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient. Schedule : 36-40 hours/week @ 3 days/week; Sundays off; no overnight shifts Compensation : Pay range starts at $31 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience Benefits : Paid 12-week training with preceptor Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Life and long-term disability insurance are provided at no additional expense to the employee Paid time off (PTO), including holidays Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent Education reimbursement Employee assistance program Wellness program Among others Responsibilities What You Can Expect: Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families Administer and chart all prescribed medications Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews Document required patient education efforts Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals Assist in medication inventory maintenance Lead a small patient care team Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed Additional tasks as requested
