HR Generalist/Recruiter

As an HR Assistant and Recruiter, you will be expected to perform the following functions: office/HR/hiring/onboarding administration, supporting recruitment, hiring, and career development; developing, updating, and maintaining policies and databases, preparing reports, maintain all required documentation regarding hiring, onboarding, and employment verification, and policy manuals as required and supporting SRS's hiring needs. Schedule is anticipated to be 06:00 AM-2:30PM or 07:00 AM-3:30 PM. A growth opportunity in the position is anticipated in the future as part of a career and training plan, particularly as the business operates 24/7 and transitions to a weekend shift. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following for Human Resources, Recruitment, and Hiring Liaison positions: Conducting interviews, filtering candidates, and giving feedback to applicants. Conducting onboarding days and managing onboarding documents to be filled out properly. Provide onboarding training for all new hires. Monitor layover and refill positions. Responsible for managing direct search and participating in off-site recruiting events. Sourcing candidates by using websites, databases, and social media. Supporting and training hiring managers, identifying practical hiring solutions, and recommending appropriate action plans and strategies. Works closely with all departments in the organization. Responsible for keeping records per employment law. Provide general administrative and clerical support in the hiring process. Conduct Initial Interviews and assessments. Maintain applicant database, applicant trackers, and recruitment analytics. Participate in internal audits (I-9s, W-4s).

Arborist Trainee (Entry-Level)

Blessing Tree Service is looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our crew as an Entry Level Arborist Trainee. This is not a sit behind a desk type of job. This is extremely physical, hands on work that takes grit, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. What You’ll Do: • Assist with tree removals, pruning, rigging, and ground operations • Drag brush, feed wood chippers, and help maintain safe job sites • Learn how to safely operate chainsaws, ropes, climbing gear, and heavy equipment • Work alongside experienced arborists and climbers daily • Help with equipment inspections, cleanup, and truck organization • Follow strict safety procedures at all times What We’re Looking For: • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to perform physically demanding labor daily • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance • Team player with a good attitude • Ability to lift heavy material repeatedly throughout the day • Comfortable working around large equipment, heights, ropes, chainsaws, bucket trucks, and wood chippers Preferred but Not Required: • Experience with landscaping, construction, tree work, or labor intensive jobs • Valid driver’s license • CDL is a plus but not required Important: This job is physically and mentally demanding. You will be working around dangerous equipment and at active job sites. Safety is extremely important to us. This position is best suited for someone who wants to build real skills, work hard, and grow within the company. Pay: $18 to $24 per hour depending on experience, attitude, and work ethic.
