Battery Test Engineer

Responsibilities: • Work with other technicians and test engineers to execute electrical and battery cycler tests and provide accurate result report. • Generate KPI for day to day lab activities. • Review BMU schematics and layout to verify conformance and to determine testability. • Conduct investigations and prepares reports to support investigations. • Co-develop procedures and analyzes data for validation activities. • Run complex test setups and DOEs using high accuracy test equipment. • Troubleshoot equipment and sample issues, maintain and solve test equipment problems as needed. • Ensure that the test data collected meets the highest standard of quality. • Use various types of measurement equipment to test batteries and cells. Key Qualifications: • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer science (or B.Sc. with industrial experience) • Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) firmware, mix of QA & Development • Strong Programming skills (preferably in Python) for test automation • Experienced in various test tools like battery testers, source meter, multi meter, etc. • Excellent debugging skills to tackle challenging problems • Strong analytical/problem solving skills to support proposed solutions • Ability to articulate design issues and path to resolution both verbally and with documentation • Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment • Knowledge of Li-Ion chemistries and cell modeling is a plus. • Prior industrial experience in hardware/firmware verification and validation is preferred. Regional Property Manager (MD/DC Area Multi-Family Affordable Housing)

Regional Property Manager - Residential Multi-Family Affordable Housing - MD/DC Region SUMMARY: The Regional Property Manager is responsible for managing operations and maximizing financial value of a diverse, multi-site residential apartment portfolio of market-rate communities. An associate in this position will be assigned by the VP to manage different properties in a region; this region is expected to be in Maryland/DC Metro Area (Montgomery County) such that routine daily/weekly travel to multi-family apartment communities will be required. The duties include achieving the financial and operational goals of the owner’s, the company, and of the region. The Regional Property Manager leads on-site staff to ensure a sufficient flow of revenue by maintaining a high percentage of apartment unit occupancy, adherence to property standards (to include unit turns and routine maintenance, grounds at a functional and high aesthetic level), Owner and resident satisfaction and controlling expenses. NOTE: This role is not a work-from-home role, and will require the selected individual to be based in the Maryland/DC Metro Area. Regular travel to be on-site daily in support of properties in this region is a requirement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the overall operations of assigned properties Review monthly financial reports, prepare owner reports and attend asset management meetings Answer questions from owner, government agencies, financial institutions, auditors, accounting, staff, etc. Hire, oversee and evaluate staff, approve raises, counsel and administer personnel decisions Monitor compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as Company policies and procedures, etc. Review leases, rules and regulations, contracts, licenses. Review rent schedules, personnel files and resident files. Review Delinquency Report, bank deposits, equipment inventory, inspections, etc. Inspect site and implement standards. Qualifications: The Regional Property Manager will have the following qualifications: Minimum 5 years-experience in affordable LIHTC & Project Based Section 8 multi-family affordable housing property management. Strong preference for 2 years of prior experience with multi-site portfolio management (5 communities). Successful experience with certifications, recertifications, REAC/NSPIRE inspections, MORs is required. Working knowledge of all aspects of property management, accounting, inspections, collections, evictions, marketing, etc. Willing to travel 80% of the time to be on-site at properties within the RPM's assigned portfolio. Travel is typically daily but, often multi-day to properties within the region. Understanding of financials, budgets, regulations, LIHTC, local and state statutes. College degree preferred, but not required. CPM/HCCP/COS/certification or equivalent strongly preferred. Superb organizational and time-management skills, able to multi-task. Customer service - common courtesy and good communication skills with residents, clients, employees, and other individuals at all levels. Works well with minimal supervision and direction. Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills. Work days, evenings and weekends as needed. Ability to train and evaluate others, and develop skills and effectively manage performance. Computer skills – Must have strong experience with Yardi and excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Strong resident relations skills, and a role model in conflict resolution and customer satisfaction Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to provide effective coverage and oversight for assigned community portfolio. This role is exempt and has an anticipated annual pay range of $100k-120k for a new employee depending on a number of relevant factors including individuals’ experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, client/property or company budgetary limitations/guidelines, and other job-related company and market considerations. This position may be eligible to receive discretionary and/or performance-based bonuses on a spot or annual basis, which are variable depending on individual merit/performance, budgetary limitations, company performance, and other job-related factors.
