Civil Engineer

Per Diem: $100 day / $700 week Summary: Location: Louisa County, VA Pay: Not specified Responsibilities: Contribute to the North Anna Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) project, focusing on extending the plant’s operational life through system upgrades and infrastructure modernization. Develop and execute technical solutions across mechanical, civil, and electrical scopes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required. Preferred industry experience in the Nuclear Industry. 2-5 years of experience in a professional engineering position. Knowledge and application of engineering theories, principles, concepts, and fundamentals. Competency in applying engineering principles and practices. Ability to perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g., Matlab, Excel). Planning, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to develop and exercise leadership skills. Effective decision-making skills. Effective oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems. Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices. Equally effective working independently or in a team environment.
