JOB DESCRIPTION: The Interventional Radiology Technologist is one who is working in an advanced modality. They are responsible for imaging and post processing of imaging for interventional radiology procedures. They circulate during procedures; scrub if needed and possess in depth knowledge of IR inventory and equipment. CALL: One weekend (Friday evening-Monday morning) and 4 weekdays (Monday-Thursday) every 12 weeks . Set call schedule. HOURS : Monday through Friday, 9AM-5:30PM. EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology. ARRT is required . Must be licensed in the State of Vermont. Individual must accumulate 200 exams as outlined by the ARRT and become licensed in the modality by passing the Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography certification exam within 24 months of hire.
