This role offers hands-on client engagement, strong technical exposure, and a clear path for advancement within a top-tier public accounting firm. You will play a key role in delivering corporate tax compliance, consulting, and ASC 740 income tax provision services to middle-market and multinational clients, working closely with engagement teams and firm specialists. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple corporate tax engagements from planning through completion, including budgeting and delivery Prepare, review, and audit ASC 740 income tax provisions (end-to-end) Review corporate federal and state tax returns; identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure technical accuracy Serve as in-charge on engagements; supervise, mentor, and review work of associates and interns Research and consult on complex tax issues and support client tax planning initiatives Interface directly with clients and collaborate with internal specialists, including national tax resources Respond to IRS, state, and local tax authority inquiries Utilize tax compliance and provision software tools Maintain high professional standards, confidentiality, and client service excellence Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2–4 years of progressive corporate tax experience Strong ASC 740 tax provision experience (preparation, review, and audit support required) Experience in public accounting at a Top 20 accounting firm CPA eligible (CPA certification preferred) Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (minimum 3 days onsite weekly) Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Active CPA license Experience serving multinational clients with revenues between $100M–$1B Stable employment history (no consistent job hopping every 1–2 years) Why Join Us Exposure to complex corporate and multinational tax work Clear promotion path toward Manager (CPA required) Collaborative culture with national-level technical resources Strong training, technology, and professional development support
