We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Division of Pulmonology at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital diagnoses and manages acute and chronic respiratory disorders and diseases, such as asthma, in children of all ages. Saint Peter's offers comprehensive pulmonary evaluation, treatment, and management for children with asthma, wheezing, croup, chronic cough, trouble breathing during exercise, pneumonia, recurrent and persistent pneumonia, unusual respiratory infections, bronchopulmonary dysplasia/chronic lung disease. Awesome ID LOCUMS now needed just outside Charlotte, NC in a beautiful area! Work is divided between in patient, outpatient and weekend call every 3rd weekend! This would be in a big hospital system where all specialties are present in the system. 60% of the time in outpatient clinic 40% of the time. There is a PA who works in the department as well that works both on the inpatient side and the outpatient side. Locums provider would need be the supervising physician for that PA. Current schedule for provider is as follows: • Monday inpatient only 8:00 to 5:00 • Tuesday inpatient AM 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, outpatient clinic in the afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 • Wednesday outpatient clinic in the AM 8:00 AM to noon inpatient afternoon 1:00 to 4:00 • Thursday outpatient clinic 8:30 AM to noon and inpatient afternoon 1:00 to 4:00. • Friday inpatient only with the possibility of outpatient overflow clinic in the AM if needed. PA will work on site inpatient on Mondays with physician. Then alternates in person coverage with the physician as listed above. PA clinic is opposite physicians Tue-Thrus Office is currently not on site at the facility but is located 1 exit down from the hospital! Average inpatient census is 15-20.
