We are in search of a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing- ADON : Assists the Director of Nursing with management of the nursing department. Assists Director of Nursing in ensuring compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel and ensuring that all regional policies/procedures are implemented. Make rounds daily to direct the work of employees and to observe for hazards, work duty problems, and ensure services are delivered to clients consistent with needs. Assists with Continuous Quality Improvement and corrective follow-up actions. Follows up daily on each unit to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded and that services are provided. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, completes chart audits and reports results and progress, and makes recommendations for improvement to the Director of Nursing. Ensures proper infection control techniques are utilized. Maintains effective communication with families, residents and facility staff. Qualifications: Current R.N. license by State required with experience in the long term care or working with the geriatric population preferred. Must have at least three years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience. Clerical ability is necessary to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes. Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents. Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments. Restorative Nurse - RN

We are in search of Restorative Nurse - RN The Restorative Nurse assumes the daily responsibility and accountability for the restorative aspect of the nursing care of all residents assigned. Coordinates other personnel in the delivery of restorative care and services according to each resident’s comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Utilizes resources in an efficient and economic manner to ensure that each resident achieves the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well being. Duties - 1. Confer with the Director of Nursing Services and/or licensed nursing personnel regarding restorative care of residents in the facility. 2. Participates in MDS/RAI process and care planning of restorative care needs based on policies and procedures. 3. Initiate requests for therapy/evaluation. Must respond to requests from the resident, physician or nursing staff. Be liaison between therapy and nursing department. 4. Evaluate the resident and his/her records or charts, and discriminate between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize when to refer the resident to a physician for evaluation, supervision or directions. 5. Implement and maintain established policies and procedures relative to restorative care. Must interpret the policy and procedures to the physician, resident and family members.
