Description Specialization: Pediatric Cardiology Cardiology Interventional $ Salary Estimate: $350,000 - $550,000 / year Job Summary: HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's is seeking a pediatric interventional cardiologist to join their growing pediatric cardiology service and serve as Medical Director of the Pediatric Cath Lab Medical Director Responsibilities: Provide direct clinical care in the cath lab, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics Oversee pediatric cardiac catheterization procedures - ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to evidence-based standards Drive adoption of new devices and techniques in collaboration with industry and academic partners Lead and develop a state-of-the-art interventional cardiology program. Participate in weekly cardiology case conference Grow and advance the interventional cardiology program through innovation, technology adoption, and strategic planning Collaborate with cardiac surgery, ICU, and cardiology divisions to strengthen the congenital heart program Develop new clinical pathways to improve patient access and outcomes Lead quality improvement initiatives related to cath lab performance, outcomes, and patient safety Standardize care protocols across the interventional and broader cardiology teams Ensure regulatory compliance with hospital, state, and national standards Manage cath lab operations including scheduling, staffing, and equipment planning Participate in budgeting and resource allocation for the interventional program Represent the program in hospital committees, leadership meetings, and community partnerships Candidate Requirements: Board certified in pediatric cardiology Pediatric interventional cardiology fellowship trained 3 years practice experience preferred Collaborative, motivated, and committed to excellence in patient care Strong leadership and management skills Incentive/Benefits Package: When applicable, may be eligible for additional compensation if engaged to provide call coverage services and/or administrative services.
