Job Description Job Description Seeking qualified candidates for filling a Heavy Equipment Operator position within our company. Candidates must be skilled in use and maintenance of skidsteers, excavators, wheel loaders, compactors, and bulldozers. Candidates must also be skilled in reading drawings, interpreting and laying out grade stakes, calculating grade/slopes, and pipe fitting. Labor work associated with excavation and underground utility installation is also expected to be performed as needed by all crew members. $22/hr - Candidate has some minor experience in excavation and familiarity with heavy equipment, but is more qualified for a laborer position than an equipment operator. $38/hr - Candidate has extensive experience in operating several earthworking machines, is able to read drawings with 100% accuracy, perform grade layout, and has experience installing water/sewer/storm services. Candidate has OSHA-30, Trench/Excavation, Confined Space, Flagger/Rigger, and First Aid/CPR training.
