ChildNet Youth & Family Services, Inc. is currently seeking Behavioral Health Therapists/Clinicians for our Behavioral Health Services (BHS) division in Long Beach, CA. Behavioral Health Services (BHS) provides mental health services to children from infancy to young adulthood. Services are provided on-site and within the community at schools, caregiver homes, child care centers, etc. Example of BHS Clinician/Therapist job responsibilities: Provide direct supervision of all clients assigned to the caseload and maintain a minimum caseload of 16 clients (typically more) in order to fulfill the requirement to provide 1080 minutes/18 hours of direct client service per week. Provide comprehensive services including individual/family therapy, collaterals, rehab sessions, and case management services as needed in the home, school and/or office environment. Collaborate with client's caregivers, biological parents, CSWs, other community agencies, social workers, teachers, medical doctors, psychiatrists, Probation department, and case managers for an interdisciplinary team approach. Encourage participation of the family in the development and implementation of service strategies when appropriate.
