The successful candidate must be a self-motivated financial professional with a deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. This role requires a deep understanding of Dynamics Great Plains, Accruals, Annual Budget, Monthly Reporting, Reconciliation, Financials, Intercompany, Income Statement, Variance, Financial Analysis, Balance Sheet, Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, and Advanced Excel. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes. 2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. 3. Perform variance analysis to understand the difference between budgeted and actual performance and identify trends. 4. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. 5. Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate and timely reporting. 6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand cost drivers and suggest cost reduction strategies. 7. Utilize Dynamics Great Plains for various accounting and financial tasks and reporting. 8. Manage accruals and prepayments, ensuring all items are accurately accounted for in the correct periods. 9. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, including the collection of data, analysis of trends and variances, and presentation of results. 10. Use advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets, develop automated reporting/forecasting tools, and create complex financial models. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related field. 3. Proficiency in Dynamics Great Plains, Accruals, Annual Budget, Monthly Reporting, Reconciliation, Financials, Intercompany, Income Statement, Variance, Financial Analysis, Balance Sheet, Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, and Advanced Excel. 4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial staff. 6. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
