QUALIFICATIONS: • Board certification in General Surgery with specialized training in Bariatric Surgery is required. • Proven experience in performing bariatric procedures within a clinical setting is essential. • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical imaging technology is preferred. • Experience in perioperative care, critical care settings, or relevant specialties such as endocrinology or gastroenterology is advantageous. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding complex medical information. • Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in relevant continuing education courses or workshops. • Knowledge of CPT coding and medical terminology is beneficial for accurate documentation and billing processes.
