Key Responsibilities: Oversee and guide production technicians and outsourced labor in the safe operation and proper care of equipment, ensuring safe usage throughout the shift. Review records and procedures to guarantee proper time and material utilization, performing continuous inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Maintain and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. Foster positive employee relations, encourage strong interdepartmental communication, and promote teamwork across all functions. Enforce safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections and periodic safety meetings to ensure a safe work environment. Plan, adjust, and manage personnel work assignments across all stages of production. Operate facility metal detector(s), if applicable, after receiving full training and certification. Monitor employee compliance with work rules and assist in employee training. Participate in disciplinary processes, providing recommendations as necessary. Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures, including EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, and others. Perform additional duties as required by management, including fulfilling work schedules, maintaining attendance, and ensuring compliance with operating rules. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a management role overseeing plant production processes in a food manufacturing environment. Formal management training program preferred. Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
