Production Employee

There are various positions available on the production line to include but not limited to sorting, packing, labeling, box making, prepackaging, and prepping ready to eat items and pre-seasoned items. Duties will include meat packing, wrapping meats, cutting standard or premium cuts of meat for packing. . Pay Rate: $13.14 / hour Duties: Compute production, construction, or installation specifications Maintain production or work records Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications. Grade, classify, or sort products according to specifications. Understand food processing directions Operate food processing production equipment/machinery. Set up production equipment or machinery se precision measuring tools or equipment. Load or unload material or workpiece into machinery Measure, weigh or count products or materials Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting. Signal directions or warnings to coworkers . Position Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. or more, pushing, pulling, and rolling racks of products. Must be able to work in a very cold environment (from 38º Fahrenheit to 40º freezing and below) to very hot conditions and a wet and/or slippery environment. Standing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, walking, overhead reaching, or repetitive motions for long periods of time. Requirements: Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old, No Background Check Required.Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED. Work Location: EDDY Foods, Inc., Yoakum, TX 77995.
