In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and repairing piping systems in a variety of settings, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Master Plumber/Pipefitter, your duties will include but are not limited to: 1. Designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. 2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand the requirements of each project. 3. Using a variety of tools and equipment to cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with precision. 4. Inspecting and testing installed pipe systems and pipelines to detect any faults or leaks. 5. Repairing or replacing damaged parts and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. 6. Collaborating with the engineering team to plan and execute projects efficiently. 7. Training and mentoring less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and skills to foster a high-performing team. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A valid Master Plumber license. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing and pipefitting, preferably in the engineering industry. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, including the ability to design, install, and repair various types of pipes and fittings. 4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. 6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team. 7. A commitment to safety, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and standards. 8. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to handle heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
