The Director of Channel Partnerships owns our relationships with independent HVAC wholesale distributors. You will work at the corporate and program level, not branch by branch, building the agreements that put Mediagistic's marketing services in front of thousands of contractors through the distributors those contractors already buy from. In Short ~ This is not net-new business development. The doors are open. The job is building relationships and converting the into opportunity. What You'll Do Own a target account list of independent HVAC wholesale distributors, prioritized by your existing relationships and familiarity Develop distributor-level marketing campaigns and co-op utilization programs that drive equipment and parts volume for the distributor Work with our manufacturer partners to identify unclaimed and underutilized co-op dollars, and build programs that deploy them effectively Generate qualified custom plan sales opportunities for the Mediagistic sales team from within the distributor network Convert signed corporate agreements into active adoption - owner meetings, dealer events, regional rollouts, and referral flow Represent Mediagistic at industry events Partner with sales operations on pipeline visibility, forecasting, and program reporting in HubSpot What We're Looking For Required Current, nameable relationships at distributor corporate marketing or vendor program level Track record of landing a vendor, product, or service onto a distributor's approved, preferred, or program catalog — and the ability to explain how that approval actually got made internally Deep co-op and MDF fluency: accrual mechanics, pre-approval workflows, proof-of-performance requirements, claim windows, and the reality of managing multiple manufacturer rulebooks at once Experience selling a non-equipment value proposition into a distributor organization Comfort with a 9–18 month enterprise sales cycle, and the discipline to keep momentum visible throughout it Willingness to travel to distributor headquarters and industry events Strongly Preferred Called on/sold to HVAC distributors Background in OEM national channel marketing, or ownership of a manufacturer co-op / MDF program Experience inside a distributor's corporate marketing organization Working knowledge of how locally owned distributor economics differ from corporate-owned distributors What This Role is Not We would rather be direct than waste your time. Branch relationships are valuable, but they are not the assignment. This is not a people-management role at launch. You will own a function, not a team. Why This Role is Worth Your Time You already know the frustration of an approved line nobody is pushing. This is that problem, with a product that makes the distributor's own dealers more profitable and their equipment move faster - and with manufacturer co-op dollars funding it rather than the distributor's budget. You will own this function from the ground up, with direct access to leadership and no layer between you and the decisions. Location Our office is on Hidden River Parkway (Fletcher & I-75) in Tampa, Florida. Compensation and Benefits Base salary plus incentive compensation.
