Job Overview Medical Director (Family Medicine): Compensation: $220,000 $240,000/year Location: New York, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Step into a leadership role as a Medical Director (Family Medicine) with our client in New York, NY. In this position, you will oversee clinical operations, provide guidance to Nurse Practitioners and Staff Physicians, and partner with the Center Director to ensure efficient medical management. Using the eClinicalWorks EMR system, you will balance patient care with administrative oversight, delivering high-quality family medicine services while leading a collaborative healthcare team. Responsibilities as the Medical Director (Family Medicine): Clinical Leadership: Provide oversight and guidance to physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring high standards of care. Direct Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in a family medicine setting. Data Review & Quality Assurance: Analyze medical histories, lab results, and clinical data with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Policy & Compliance Oversight: Collaborate with Human Resources to review, update, and implement clinical policies, protocols, and best practices. Team Collaboration & Development: Lead staff meetings, mentor providers, and coordinate with medical and administrative teams to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications for the Medical Director (Family Medicine): Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required. Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine required. Experience: 2 years of leadership experience with a proven background in clinical management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the eClinicalWorks EMR system and related healthcare technologies.
