Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

We are looking to add 3 Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologists for a Cardiology Practice located on the North Fork of Suffolk County, Long Island, within easy access of Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital and other area hospitals. The practice is a division of Stony Brook Community Medical, PC. Our practice specializes in cardiac disorders, cardiovascular care, and diagnostic testing. Our goal is to provide the community with a level of quality care, cutting-edge treatment,s and personalized attention. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Provides health care to patients, including diagnosis and treatment as a team leader. Obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, makes diagnoses, and orders appropriate, standard laboratory and diagnostic procedures as necessary. Evaluates procedure results. Provides preventative as well as acute care. Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing the patient's plan of care. Provides patient education about underlying medical conditions, self-management of acute or chronic illnesses and tailors instructions to patients' individual circumstances. Instructs and counsels patients regarding therapeutic regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance. Prescribes medications. Documents exam and progress notes in the Electronic Medical Record. Provides referral letters as needed. Collects, monitors, and reports on patient outcomes. Share night and weekend call coverage with other Physicians in a Call Group. Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed at all times. Responsible for the conduct and care given by other clinical office staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and technologists. The physician is the head of the clinical team. Responsible for the conduct and patient interaction of shadowing medical students, physician extenders, and nursing interns. Responsible for meeting quality benchmarks established by Population Health, Payors, NYS DOH or the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services. This is mostly outpatient but will need to do rounds in the hospital when required. Follows established evidence-based practices and assures good quality patient care. Must build a patient population base to generate revenue to cover salary & expenses. Full Benefit package client will discuss with the Candidate. Coverage is Greenport only. PTO is 4 weeks plus Holidays 2-year guarantee on salary while building the patient database. Bonuses if exceeding RVU Benefits include UHC medical, vision, dental, Life Insurance, 401K with 8%of salary contribution from SB, and Malpractice.

Allergy/Immunology Physician

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of immunological disorders and allergies, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As an Allergist/Immunologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of allergic conditions and immunological diseases while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations, to diagnose allergic and immunological conditions. • Develop personalized treatment plans that may include immunotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, treatment plans, and follow-up care efficiently. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in pulmonology, dermatology, and pediatrics, to provide integrated patient care. • Educate patients on allergy management strategies, including avoidance techniques and the use of emergency medications such as epinephrine auto-injectors. • Perform diagnostic tests such as skin prick tests and serum-specific IgE testing to evaluate allergic responses. • Stay current with advancements in the field through clinical research and continuous education in immunology practices. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information. QUALIFICATIONS: • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with completion of an Allergy/Immunology fellowship program. • Board certification in Allergy/Immunology is preferred. • Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with Epic software is advantageous. • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to immunology and allergy management. • Experience in clinical research or participation in clinical trials is desirable. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in allergy/immunology.
