Based in Solana Beach, California, the company designs financing exclusively for licensed cannabis operators and the ancillary businesses that support them. FundCanna has underwritten over 6,000 clients and approved more than $500 million in funding across all cannabis verticals in over 40 states. Led by founder and CEO Adam Stettner, an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, FundCanna has focused solely on cannabis financing since 2021 and continues to expand its impact in this rapidly growing sector. As we continue to expand our reach and influence, we are seeking a Salesforce Adminitrator & Developer to keep our technology running and configure as needed. About the role: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator who can also develop Apex, Flow, and LWC to own our Salesforce organization end to end. We are a financial technology company, and Salesforce is the core of our business. It runs our sales pipeline, underwriting, financial servicing, partner compensation, marketing, and phone system. You will be the person who keeps all of it running, configures and extends it as needed, and acts as the go-to for every team that depends on it. Our technology team runs on Agile with two-week sprints and full ceremonies, managed in Jira, and this role is a full participant in that process. This is a full-time, on-site role at our San Diego office (Solana Beach). We require authorization to work in the United States that is valid for at least three more years from the start date. We do not sponsor H-1B visas for this role Key Responsibilities: Administer a complex Salesforce org spanning standard objects (Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Campaigns) and many custom objects, managed packages, and homegrown applications. Own the configuration of our financial servicing and syndication platform: fees and fee templates, payments, repayment schedules, GL mappings, record creation mappings, and syndication. Maintain funding program and pricing configuration: program terms, monthly rate factors, approval and funding calculators, pricing rules, repayment options, GL templates, and reminder emails. Manage partner and referral configuration: partnership terms, referral compensation, account rebates, and the referral manager. Maintain document generation templates, solutions, and queries. Administer marketing automation and campaigns (Pardot / Account Engagement): prospect sync, campaign member statuses, journeys, prospect and dynamic lists. Manage lead assignments and distribution: teams, tags, out-of-office handling, and settings, plus account ownership changes and account/opportunity teams. Administer our telephony and SMS integration: call flows, phone numbers, routing, and callback numbers. Maintain data quality controls, including duplicate and matching rules, and the stipulation templates used in underwriting. Own the website lead intake process: Flow-based automation that de-duplicates incoming form submissions, creates or updates Leads, Accounts, and Contacts, and attributes partner referrals. Develop and maintain Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components to extend the platform where declarative tools fall short and participate in code review and deployment. Handle user management, permissions, security settings, and release management across sandboxes and production using Gearset. Work within our Agile process: scope and estimate Jira tickets, participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, and deliver in two-week cycles. Document configuration and processes, train users, and respond to support requests from sales, operations, finance, and leadership. Bonus: serve as the on-site liaison between employees and our managed IT provider, maintain our local hardware inventory, and provide first-line troubleshooting for workstations, headsets, and peripherals. Candidate Requirements: 3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a production org with multiple managed packages and significant custom configuration. Working proficiency in Apex, Flow, and Lightning Web Components, with the judgment to know when configuration is the better answer than code. Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and automation framework. Experience supporting non-technical users directly: translating requests into solutions, setting expectations, and explaining trade-offs clearly. Comfortable owning a broad surface area independently and prioritizing across competing requests. Preferred Experience Salesforce Administrator certification(s); Platform Developer I or Advanced Administrator is a plus. Experience working in a Jira-based Agile/Scrum process. Experience with lending, loan servicing, or financial services on Salesforce. Experience with Conga, Pardot / Account Engagement, Vonage or another Salesforce-integrated telephony system, and nc-squared or similar distribution tools. Experience with Gearset or a similar Salesforce DevOps tool, plus Salesforce DX and Git. Experience as an IT point of contact for a small-to-mid-size office (hardware, Microsoft 365, onboarding/offboarding) and willingness to handle basic IT support. Why Join Us: Our company offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of financial technology in the Cannabis industry. Culture, work ethic, integrity and enjoying the work we do are all things that matter here. We work hard but we have fun doing it.
