The ideal candidate must be available to work Sunday through Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM for approximately two months. This is not a PRN (as-needed) position and will last until the role is filled. The nurse will provide professional nursing care in a busy environment and will be responsible for a variety of duties related to patient care, staff coordination, and medical administration. Registered Nurse (Contract Position) Location: Orient, OH Hours: Sunday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Approx. 2-month contract) Pay Range: $45 - $50 per hour Duration: Until position is filled (non-PRN position) Required Availability: Must be available to work the scheduled hours Position Overview: Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to students hospitalized in student health services, inmates, juvenile offenders, or consumers in a state-operated facility. Observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, both in the infirmary and outpatient settings. Make regular nursing rounds and take vital signs. Administer prescribed medications, treatment plans, and immunizations as ordered by the physician. Monitor and provide care to restrained patients, ensuring timely and accurate checks (e.g., every 15 minutes). Provide immediate medical attention to emergencies, including first aid and arranging transportation to the hospital if necessary. If assigned, may oversee lower-level staff, including RNs and LPNs, and participate in performance reviews and leave approvals. Participate in staff development and educational activities, review care plans, and assist in the orientation and training of new employees. In a correctional setting, provide health care for a group of bedridden inmates, perform specialized procedures (e.g., IV therapy, wound care, CPR, tube feeding), and supervise health care staff during assigned shifts. Perform clerical duties such as charting, recording medications, completing required reports, and maintaining inventory of controlled drugs and medical equipment. Arrange for outpatient clinic appointments and medical examinations, including prescription refills and orders through local pharmacies. Serve as a liaison and participate in meetings or problem-solving teams as needed.

This role performs system-level and subassembly-level testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis involving electronic, mechanical, optical, fluidic, and electromechanical components. The technician ensures products meet performance specifications, quality standards, and production schedules while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. This position requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and collaboration with assemblers, technicians, quality personnel, and engineers in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
