Facility Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description Job Description Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Grand Rapids area to hire a Maintenance Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys developing teams, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities: Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance Ensure equipment uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance strategies Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Prioritize work orders and manage maintenance schedules Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects Track maintenance metrics and prepare reports as needed Qualifications: 10 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience preferred Company Description Axios Professional Recruitment. is an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), a privately held organization headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
