The focus of the position is on providing assessment and consultation services for children and adolescents with known or suspected neurological conditions, including acquired and traumatic brain injury through the inpatient rehabilitation unit. While primarily a clinical position, research experience is preferred and there are multiple opportunities for academic collaboration with clinicians and researchers through the medical center and The University of Texas at Austin. Eligible applicants would have prior neuropsychological assessment experience and be proficient in completing the full evaluation from intake through presenting assessment results. The successful candidate will have experience with medical/neurology populations, with an emphasis on pediatric populations. The candidate will also supervise staff psychometrists and trainees at the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral level. Interdisciplinary care is a priority for the institution, and the Assistant or Associate Professor will be an integral part of one or multiple treatment teams with the Pediatric Neuroscience center.
