Join The Peach Truck as a Box truck Driver & Peach Slinger, where youll do far more than driveyoull be on your feet, lifting, unloading, and building each event from the ground up. As a key member of our seasonal team, youll be responsible for safely transporting fresh peaches and physically setting up every location, including unloading the truck and assembling tents, tables, boxes of peaches, and all event supplies. Youll transform empty parking lots into fully operational Peach Truck stands, break everything down at the end of each stop, and keep things running smoothly throughout the day. Between heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and long days outdoors, this is an active, physically demanding role that rewards energy and endurance. Along the way, youll connect with customers and deliver an outstanding experience that keeps them coming back for more.This seasonal position typically runs from May to September and is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and engaging with customers in a high-energy, people-focused role.Responsibilities:Drive & Deliver:Safely operate a 26-foot truck, navigating local routes to deliver fresh peaches and other produce to various markets and customers.Use a liftgate to load and unload crates and boxes (50 lbs) at each stop, ensuring all items are properly secured during transit.Maintain timely, efficient delivery schedules while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.Ensure vehicles are gassed up at the end of each shift.Setting up Events:Create the ultimate Peach Truck experience by setting up tables, tents, and equipment (50 lbs) with care and efficiency.Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team, practicing safety standards during loading, unloading, and while driving.Customer Engagement:Build genuine connections with customers, making them feel at home and providing excellent service to ensure they leave happy and satisfied.Greet every customer warmly, engage in conversation, share peach wisdom, and help them find their perfect summer treat.Teach customers how to condition peaches for peak perfection and provide information on our latest offerings.Minimize wait times, engage with customers in line, and transform any issues into a positive experience.Bag peaches, assist with inventory, and ensure each interaction reflects The Peach Trucks high service standards.Handle customer inquiries and concerns with positivity, offering assistance and resolving any issues promptly.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older.Authorized to work in the United States.High school diploma or equivalent.Valid drivers license (CDL a plus) with a clean driving record.Proven experience driving a 26-foot truck or similar vehicle, including use of mechanical liftgates.Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all types of weather.Availability to work weekends (Saturday is mandatory).Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering positive, professional experiences.Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy and quality.A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.The Peach Truck is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that specializes in delivering fresh, high-quality peaches directly from farmers to customers across the United States.
