The physician provides oversight and management of both routine and complex deliveries and c-sections. Our providers do cover ED GYN call. We partner with the Women's Specialists group to cover this call. The laborist will have times when they cover both L&D and ED call. 24 hour in house laborist coverage at the hospital.

Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our growing Urgent Care team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, skilled clinician who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable treating patients of all ages with a wide range of acute medical needs. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Perform thorough histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, lab work, and EKGs Manage and treat a wide range of acute conditions, including infections, minor injuries, and exacerbations of chronic illnesses Perform urgent care based procedures such as: Laceration repair and wound care Incision and drainage of abscesses Splinting, immobilization, and simple fracture management Joint injections and aspirations Foreign body removal (skin, soft tissue, eye, ear, nose) Burn care and management IV fluid administration and medication injections Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinic staff Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine/Pediatrics considered) Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) Current DEA and CPR/BLS certifications (ACLS and PALS preferred) Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care Schedule & Compensation Flexible scheduling options: full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts available 10 or 12-hour shifts available About the DFW Area The Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S., offering excellent schools, diverse cultural amenities, and year-round recreational opportunities.
