Utilize electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, amp clamps, and oscilloscopes. Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all company safety requirements. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within maintenance systems or work orders. Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and outside contractors as needed. Maintain spare parts inventory and communicate parts requirements to supervision. Assist in training maintenance personnel and machine operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Support company goals related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost reduction. Maintain good housekeeping and organization in maintenance and production areas. Work Environment: Manufacturing and industrial production environment. Exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, oils, coolants, and industrial noise. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required. May involve work from ladders, lifts, or elevated platforms. Requirements: Journeyman Electrician Card, Electrical License, or equivalent industrial electrical experience preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems.
