GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for the efficient manufacture and quality forming of production parts (Hoses) within the assigned department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance): Check specifications as to job and perform numbers. Retrieve proper pre-form and guide onto mandrel using lubricant as necessary. Position loaded mandrels in curing rack for curing. Move curing rack into autoclave when full. Remove curing rack from autoclave to proper work area. Position mandrel bars for unloading. Remove formed hose from mandrel, place into proper container. Position full baskets with proper job and employee clock numbers. Identify parts baskets with proper job and employee clock numbers. Set up curing racks per production and supervisor guidance. Replenish lubricant in trough as needed. Perform all operations according to standard practice or as directed by supervisor to produce quality parts. Fill out required paperwork as necessary. Record cure charts as required. Perform other miscellaneous duties required but not listed above. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (These are the traditional minimum, or required, bona-fide occupational qualifications and other requirements of most people in this job). High School Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred (particularly in a team environment). NCRC certified preferred.
