Customer Success Manager (New York City Metropolitan Area)

Client Success Manager AEO Engine. Remote, United States. Full time, contractor basis. $72,000 to $78,000 base, $102,000 to $108,000 on target, uncapped. Thirty to forty law firms, and you are the person they call first. You know how each firm runs, how intake works, what a good month looks like for them and which partner watches the numbers. When their visibility in ChatGPT and Google AI moves, you explain it in plain English in the ten minutes a managing partner has. When something is stuck, you find out why, get it moving, and come back with the answer before they had to ask. If that is the part of agency life you have always liked most, this is the seat. What we do When someone asks ChatGPT or Google which personal injury lawyer to call, we make sure our clients are the answer. We help small and mid size businesses get recommended by AI in markets where the goliaths outspend them, so the answer goes to a better business rather than the one with the biggest ad budget. Law firms are the clients we are adding fastest, and we run the same engine for dental practices, home services companies and B2B software firms, on monthly plans from $1,597 to $10,000. The results are on our case studies page. What the work is like This is a people job. Our SEO team and our platform do the technical work and produce the reporting, so you will not be running campaigns or building reports. What you bring is enough understanding of how it all works that a lawyer trusts your explanation, and the judgment to know when something needs to go to delivery. Most weeks look like this. You learn your clients as people and as businesses. You know their intake process, their case mix and what they are hoping this quarter brings. You read their dashboards and reports before they do. The reports are dense and your clients are busy, so you are the one who notices the ranking drop or the stalled deliverable and gets it to our delivery team the same day. You run the monthly results call. You walk them through what changed, what it means for their cases and what happens next, in language a busy partner takes in. You set expectations early. If a result will take eight weeks instead of four, they hear that from you in week one, not from the report in week five. When the hard call comes, you take it. A ranking drops or a partner is worried. You find out what happened, come back with a plan, and leave them calmer than they started. You are the client's voice inside the company. What you hear on calls goes back to the people building the system, so the service improves and the next conversation gets easier. Who you would work with You would work directly with our senior technical operations lead and the two founders. The systems you would be explaining, from entity optimization to how AI engines decide who to cite, are built and tested here, so you learn them from the people who wrote them. When an account looks wrong, you ask the person who designed the system instead of filing a ticket and waiting. Vijay Jacob, our founder and CEO, has spent a decade in search and AI driven marketing, was ranked the number one AEO and GEO consultant in New York by Digital Reference in April 2026, and gave the AEO keynote at Ecom Mastery AI in Nashville the same month. Dan Ashburn, our co founder and CMO, has more than twenty years in digital marketing and built Titan Network, the Amazon seller community and an Inc. 5000 company. Around you is a small team of SEO specialists plus the AI agent crew that runs the audits, the content and the reporting. That leaves you free to be the person your clients talk to, which is the part of this job we care about most. You would be joining early at a fast growing AI native company. Who does well here You have spent at least three years owning client relationships at a marketing or SEO agency, and you can tell us which clients stayed, which left, and what you did about each. If those clients included law firms, you are ahead. If they were another kind of skeptical professional, dentists, surgeons, financial advisers, that counts too. You can explain a ranking move to a lawyer without losing them, and you read GA4 and Search Console without help. Attention to detail is the trait we screen hardest for. You notice when a number moves on page three of a report and you ask why before the client does. You have earned the respect of senior clients before. Law firm partners are skeptical, senior and short on time, and they know within one call whether you know what you are talking about. You keep your composure when a client is angry or disappointed, and you handle it without escalating or promising what you cannot deliver. You would rather tell a client the truth early than smooth it over, and you are comfortable saying a price out loud. What we hold you to Every client in your book gets a monthly call where you walk them through their results. The bar is 95% revenue retention on your book, and hitting it mostly comes down to those calls going well and problems being caught early. No client should find a problem in their report before they have heard about it from you. When a client is getting results and ready for more, you bring it up. That part is paid, uncapped, and it follows good work rather than leading it. Pay, in full Base pay $72,000 to $78,000 depending on experience. A quarterly retention bonus on your book, worth about $15,000 a year at target. 10% of the first year value of every upgrade and add on you close, uncapped, about $15,000 a year at target and more if you are good at it. On target earnings $102,000 to $108,000. On target means base plus the bonus and commission at target, not a guarantee, and we will show you the plan on the first call. This is a full time contractor seat, invoiced monthly. Remote anywhere in the United States, Central or Eastern hours preferred. How we hire A 30 minute call. Then a 60 minute working session on one real account, where we give you the client report and you show us the monthly email you would send and what you would raise with the client. Then a conversation with the two founders. We move in days, not weeks, and we tell you where you stand at each step. How to apply (IMPORTANT) Apply at https://aeoengine.ai/careers with a short note on the largest client book you have run and what happened to it while you had it. If it included law firms, say so.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline. • 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, operations finance, or related analytical leadership roles. • Healthcare industry experience. • Strong understanding of value-based care, Medicare Advantage, managed care economics, or full-risk healthcare models. • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare, clinic, or physician practice operations. • Working knowledge of key value-based care metrics, including PMPM, MLR, HCC, RAF, Stars, and HEDIS. • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders through data-driven analysis and business partnership. • Strong financial modeling, analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. • Comfort working with large, complex datasets in rapidly evolving environments. • Proven ability to succeed in highly entrepreneurial, build-from-scratch organizations. • Ability to travel across Florida clinics as needed.
