Key Responsibilities\n In the role of a Mental Health Counselor, you will: \n \n Conduct thorough assessments and mental health screenings, formulating suitable treatment plans based on individual patient needs and diagnosis. \n Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention, addressing an array of concerns while ensuring confidentiality and ethical guidelines are met. \n Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focused on enhancing patient well-being and personal development, using evidence-based practices for effective outcomes. \n Collaborate proactively with medical teams, patient support services, and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. \n Engage in outreach and preventive initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns and community wellness events. \n Maintain accurate, confidential patient records, adhering to all ethical standards and regulations. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n In this position, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, who present a variety of mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and situational crises, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
