This Opportunity WSP is seeking an accomplished Capital Projects Director to lead and expand our Oil & Gas Midstream Pipelines Capital Project portfolio across the United States. This leadership role will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale capital pipeline programs, including transmission pipelines, gathering systems, compressor stations, terminals, and associated infrastructure. Safety, Quality & Compliance Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company standards Ensure compliance with PHMSA, FERC, environmental, and industry regulations Promote quality assurance and risk management across all project phases Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field 20 years of experience in oil & gas, with a strong focus on midstream pipelines and facilities Proven experience leading large capital projects/programs ($100M–$1B) in pipelines or energy infrastructure Demonstrated success as a Project Director, Program Director, or senior capital projects leader Deep expertise in EPCM delivery models, pipeline construction, and project lifecycle execution Strong understanding of pipeline systems, compressor stations, terminals, and related infrastructure Track record of delivering projects with strong financial, safety, and schedule performance Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to manage staff, and effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Strategic lateral thinking and strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff, including those with whom no formal hierarchical relationship exits.
