Details Work in the Surgical Services department, which includes Pre-Op, 20 ORs, PACU, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing Provides 24/7 inpatient and outpatient surgical care 1st shift schedule with 4x10s, 6:45a-5:15p No call required Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) Current BLS certification ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices Comfortable with computer systems and applications or ability to be trained Additional Information Implements professional nursing practice centered on patient-focused, evidence-based care Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops care plans, and delegates tasks appropriately Facilitates admission, transfer, and discharge processes including patient and family education Collaborates with inter-professional care team members to coordinate individualized treatment plans Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-750324.
