Position Summary The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is a highly skilled HVAC/R professional who works independently with minimal supervision to diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Based primarily in the Central Indiana region, this role functions as a lead technician, supporting teammates and ensuring equipment performance and efficiency across a wide variety of systems, including boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, air handling units, hydronic systems, make-up air units, temperature controls, heat pumps, paint booths, and exhaust fans. Primary Responsibilities and Duties Diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Obtain vendor pricing for repair parts and coordinate with service support on purchasing needs. Submit accurate quotes, service tickets, and work orders through the Service Field App in a timely manner. Enter detailed and accurate equipment, site, material, and customer information into the Service Field App. Communicate professionally with customers on-site, providing clear explanations and updates. Maintain effective communication with dispatch and service support teams. Assist teammates by providing in-person or remote diagnostic and repair support. Perform additional duties as assigned by dispatch or management. Traits and Competencies Flexible and adaptable in dynamic service environments.
