Candidates are must be experienced in turning, drilling, boring, facing, threading and grinding. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, GED, CNC Machinist Training Certificate / Diploma with a minimum of (4) years of hands-on experience setting-up and operating vertical and horizontal CNC Lathes. Read and understand blueprints technical drawings and blueprints, able to hold machining tolerances to .001” Able to utilize measuring tools: tape measure, micrometers, and calipers Calculate using fractions and decimals Experienced with a 4 jaw chuck set-up is preferred SET-UP & Operate CNC Lathes, able to identify speeds and feeds for different alloys. Ability to use Conversational Programming Capable of selecting the correct Cutting Tools Familiar with cutting tools, applications and uses; and other tools associated with CNC Lath equipment and machining work.
