These individuals read blueprints, start and operate manual and CNC machines, perform quality checks with various gaging equipment, and perform minor preventative machine maintenance. We are looking for individuals who have knowledge or experience in machine operations, a keen eye for quality control and safety, the ability to solve problems and perform basic mathematics, and the desire to develop and expand their skills in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Sets up manual/CNC and mill/lathe machines to produce metal valve and regulator parts in accordance with machine specifications. Starts machines, positions and secures workpiece, and engages bar feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms. Reads blueprints and understands symbols for concentricity, runout, surface finish, machined/non-machined surfaces, seat areas, and dimensions.
