Project Management: Plan and execute voice network upgrades, migrations, and new feature deployments; coordinate with project stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Required Skills and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional – Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) required; Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert – Collaboration (CCIE Collaboration) preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Cisco voice and unified communications engineering, design, and support in large enterprise environments. Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Expressway, UCCX/UCCE, and Jabber/Webex. Deep understanding of voice protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP), QoS, dial plans, call routing, and numbering plans. Strong experience with Cisco gateways (ISR, CUBE), voice gateways (VG2XX/3XX), and integration with PSTN and SIP providers. Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, WAN, MPLS) as they pertain to voice networks. Hands-on experience with network management and monitoring tools. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and deployment of virtualized UC applications. Understanding of security practices for voice and collaborative environments, including SRTP, TLS, and secure call recording. Experience in scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, APIs) is a plus.
